Be mine, Valentine.
Clearly it's been a while since my last post on here...there may in fact actually be cobwebs on my keyboard! Haha! Needless to say..I think I'm well over due for an update! Since my last post..I started a new job working at a boutique called Petal where I do a little bit of modeling and help out with the website/social media. So far I've loved the switch from what I was previously doing, I work with an incredible group of girls, my boss is a total bad ass, I've learned SO much and had a ton of fun while doing so! When I'm not working, I'm usually babysitting, spending time with friends and family..and of course, shopping! Speaking of shopping..I cannot get over all of the pretty pink and red overflowing off the shelves of practically every store right now! Valentine's day is one of my favorite holidays not only because it involves everything I love (hearts, candy, the color pink, oh and let's not forget CUPCAKES), but it's also the perfect excuse to show the important people in your life just how much you love and appreciate them! In the past year I've had so many incredible people enter my life and I feel so blessed and fortunate to have such a great group of friends and strong family to call my own. One person in particular who has had a rough year to say the least..is my Mom. She is such a beautiful, selfless, loving woman and I couldn't ask for someone more incredible to have as a role model and best friend. I love her so much and plan on making her day tomorrow a special one! With Valentine's day just one day away..I figured I'd start my comeback with a fun, love inspired fashion post to get everyone in a lovey mood for tomorrow! Granted..this photo shoot took place around Christmas time for Petal's "Christmas Dreaming" Look Book...but with pretty clothes, a cute boy, and lots of pink..I figured it would be perfect for V-day!
For this shoot I had the pleasure of working with one of the most stylish dudes I have ever met..EVER!! Luke Yerrick, a stylist at Gap SouthPark! Can you believe he provided all of the clothes he was wearing..straight from his own closet?! Ridiculous..I know! Anyway..besides being incredibly stylish and ridiculously good looking, he also has all of the personality to back it up! This dude is blowing up around Charlotte, so be on the look out! (He was also featured on one of my favorite blogs: The Queen City Style with the beautiful Whitley Hamlin.) Keep an eye out for him! :)
Everything I'm wearing is from Petal! PS: that gorgeous sequin jacket is now on sale!!!

Hope everyone has an amazing V-day!

Chelsey

What I Love Right Now
What I'm loving right now: My favorite picks from Anthropologie!
Sailendra Pillow/Le Versha Chair (orange)/Quarter Color Curtain (coral)/Sun Fire Cami/Sugar Coated Necklace/Crackled Copper Heels
So I've been a little MIA lately from the blogosphere...but I'm back now, and ready with lots of posts coming soon! I've been incredibly busy, working a lot and cleaning even more..oh and also taking quite a few naps in my spare time! ;) Don't judge! I've got a lot of exciting things ahead of me this summer including my uncle and his adorable fiance's wedding, and I may even be walking in a fashion show in September ( fingers crossed).
Hope everyone has a great weekend! :)

Stay Golden
I've been in the process of redecorating my room for a while now, and I've had a really hard time trying to figure out what kind of furniture I want, especially when it comes to end tables. In my quest to find the perfect table, I've really gravitated towards gold, brass, or worn looking metal style tables. I've found so many tables that I love while shopping online, but most of them are majorly out of my price range.
Here are a few tables from Horchow that I've had my eye on:

I've literally been searching everywhere for something similar to these tables, and after a spur of the moment trip to Homegoods with my Mom...I found this beauty! It looks incredibly similar to the $1,049 table pictured above...except in only cost me $60! I even got a discount because one of the mirrors had a huge crack..but it looked easy to hide, so there was no way I could say no!
Look for less? I'd say so! :)
Homegoods is the BOMB.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Puppy Love
Today has been such a lazy day..I literally have not left my bed once, except for the occasional trip downstairs to grab yet another cupcake and shove it down my throat. Haha! Yesterday was one of my favorite managers last day at work, so I made her a batch of Funfetti cupcakes..but I also went ahead and made myself a batch of lemonade flavored cupcakes with lemonade icing. I'm pretty sure I've eaten close to 12 cupcakes in the past two days alone. This is clearly a problem. I really should work out, but I'm having such a nice time relaxing and snuggling with my puppies, and it's too hard to get up! Does anyone else ever feel this way? Like you just can't get up and get going? I think it's kind of nice! :)
My snuggle buddies:
Hope everyone has a relaxing day! :)
